Where the data comes from
The state's EFA report. The 2024-25 Arkansas Education Freedom Accounts Program Annual Report (Arkansas Department of Education with the University of Arkansas Department of Education Reform, October 2025) lists every participating private school with its EFA and total enrollment (Table 1), the share of EFA students who continued the next year (Table 2), EFA payments by school and provider (Appendix B, spring transactions), and EFA students' average national test percentiles (Appendix C). The report is public through ERIC (ED676139).
Federal school records. The U.S. Department of Education, NCES Private School Survey (2023-24 public-use file; 2021-22 where a school did not respond in 2023-24) gives each school's address, grades, enrollment, teachers, religious orientation and association memberships. 7 schools in our directory come from this survey. 2 more are EFA participants that did not answer the federal survey; for those we show only what the state report contains.
Program rules. Award amounts, eligibility, the application window and spending rules come from the Arkansas Department of Education's published program information for 2026-27. Program rules change, so confirm the details with the state EFA office (501-683-1876, ade.efa@ade.arkansas.gov) before you make a decision.
What we are
Fort Smith Edu Funding is a Boss Leads project. We are not a school, the Arkansas Department of Education, FACTS or ClassWallet. Advisors help families put together a funding plan and connect them with schools that take their funding. Our featured partner, AmFaith, is disclosed wherever it appears.
Arkansas has no complete public registry of private schools. If a school is missing or a detail is wrong, tell us and we'll check it against the records.
